Description: This is a clone from a mature macadamia tree found growing in North Miami Florida a few years ago. It is believed to be related to the Arkin Papershell variety of Macadamia. Some people have said it is identical to the Arkin Papershell. I can't verify that because I never tried or tasted the Arkin macadamia.
The publication Tropical Fruit News noted that Mr. Arkin worked to establish macadamia trees well suited to Florida and especially South Florida. This variety is currently named "Florida Champ"
These trees should begin to produce within 2-3 years and may flower at an early age. After flowering in the spring, trees will ripen their nuts during the following fall and early winter. Mature nuts drop to the ground, so you don't have to worry about harvesting from the tree. It is recommended to allow the trees to grow a good framework before allowing fruit to set. Bees play a critical role in pollination.
This tree is a good producer of delicious medium sized fresh nuts. The nuts, may be roasted and salted. Trees tolerate all Florida soils. Young trees need lots of water and once established, will live through some flooding, as well as some drought.
This order includes USPS Priority Shipping for one plant as described (2 day average delivery).
The Plants I ship you vary in size from 6 - 9 inches on average. These are seedling trees not grafted.
Important growing tips: https://www.pepesplants.com/macadamia-trees.html
Macadamia spp.
Proteaceae
IMPORTANT READ THIS: These young trees must be kept from frost and cold temperatures. Mature trees will survive temperatures as low as 30 degrees F. Colder temperatures will severely defoliate and kill the tree, unless protected by blankets. Grow the tree in a pot in cold climates and bring indoors. Keep near bright light or in a greenhouse during cold weather.
Origin: Macadamia integrifolia is native to southeastern Queensland where it grows in the rain forests and close to streams. M. tetraphylla is native to southeastern Queensland and northeastern New South Wales, also growing in rain forests, in moist places and along stream banks. There are types that appear to be natural hybrids. The macadamia was introduced into Hawaii about 1881 where it was used as an ornamental and for reforestation. The Hawaii Agricultural Experiment Station named and introduced several promising selections in 1948, which led to the modern macadamia industry in Hawaii. In California two seedling macadamias were planted in the early 1880's and are still standing on the Berkeley campus of the University of California. The importation of improved and named varieties into California from Hawaii began about 1950. Macadamias are also commercially important in Australia, South Africa and Central America.

Plump, bountiful berries with irresistible flavor. Relatively modest-sized tree yields plump, black fruit with a tantalizingly sweet-tart taste. Giant, heart-shaped leaves. Originated in Florida, but also grows well further north. Pest- and disease-resistant. Drought and heat-tolerant. Ripens April through summer. Self-pollinating.
Not responsible for cold weather damage. We offer quality, exotic fruit tree starter plants. We use only OMRI approved organic pesticides. Have a look at our offers and buy with confidence. See our reviews on our website. We work hard to bring you the finest plants and earn 5 stars.
How to Grow: Mulberry: Trees prefer full sun and a rich well drained soil. Mulberry trees do like plenty of water but not soggy soil! They are fast growing and benefit from low nitrogen fertilizer with an emphasis on phosphorus and potassium. Plant them away from sidewalks and driveways to avoid the fruit that drops to the ground. This variety grows well in the Southern States. If aphids, mites, mealybugs or other common pests are an issue, insecticidal soap spray usually takes care of the problem. You can also use neem oil but in the early evening one hour before sunset only! All orders include USPS Priority Shipping for up to three items (2 day average delivery).

ITEM DESCRIPTION: Cashew tree seedling Anacardium occidentale
The average planted height from soil level is 9-15 inches.
More about growing cashew: They like tropical weather but you can grow them in the sub tropics too. They do not like temperatures below 50 degrees Fahrenheit. At temperatures below 40 degrees they may die. Best chance of success without a greenhouse would be zones 11a then 10b and more difficult in 10a. I have many friends that grow them here in South Florida and they do protect them in winter. Keep the trees compact so you can cover them with a blanket, if you are in other zones you need a greenhouse. Cashew is self fertile and is pollinated by insects. Your tree should begin fruiting at around three years of age. Consider ordering two trees for cross pollination and get a larger harvest. Start growing your cashew in part shade. Step your plant up to larger pots gradually as you acclimate it to the sun. Select a well drained spot (cashew trees don't like wet feet or heavy clay soils), preferably a place that has some protection from strong winds. Soil pH range 5.8 - 6.5 Very light balanced organic fertilizer once a month during the spring and summer. Note: We offer quality, exotic fruit tree starter plants. ITEM DESCRIPTION: One Neem Tree (Azadirachta indica) This is the true Neem Tree that is grown commercially in India. The oil from the neem seed is sold as a leaf polisher but it has a long history as an insecticide as well as an industrial lubricant. Medicinally, neem is used by Ayurvedic practitioners to treat a multitude of ailments. Neem trees flower once they reach 4-5’ tall. The fragrant, white flowers grow on long inflorescences. The fruits and seeds are the source of neem oil. In northern zones, Neem trees go dormant in the winter. The average planted height from soil level is 7-9 inches.
More about growing Neem: Neem is a hardy tree that can tolerate temperatures up to 120 F. (50 C.). However, extended cool weather with temperatures below 35 F. (5 C.) will cause the tree to drop its leaves. The tree won’t tolerate colder temperatures, poor soil drainage or prolonged drought.
USDA Hardiness Zones 9-10 Location: The tree should have a well-drained, frost-free location that is sunny and warm. Soil: Flourishes in rich, deep soil of medium or open texture. The tree needs the best drainage and cannot tolerate "wet feet". Irrigation: The trees benefit from regular moisture, but be careful not to overwater, as the tree won’t tolerate wet feet or poorly drained soil. Allow the soil to dry between every watering. Feed the tree about once a month in spring and summer, using a light application of any good organic quality, balanced fertilizer or a dilute solution of water-soluble fertilizer.
Fertilization: Feed the tree about once a month in spring and summer, using a light application of any good organic quality, balanced fertilizer or a dilute solution of water-soluble fertilizer. Start growing your seedling in part shade. Step your plant up to larger pots gradually as you acclimate it to the sun. Select a well drained spot preferably a place that has some protection from strong winds. It prefers a soil pH in the 6.2-7.0 range, but can grow within a range of 5.0-8.0 pH. Mature neem trees are light demanding, but seedlings tolerate moderate shade during their first growing season, especially on dry sites.

Grow it in full sun and well-drained soil. Let me say it again! Well drained soil!! They don't like wet feet. They also need regular fertilizer, or they will decline fast.

The tree is a fast-growing, but deciduous (looses it leaves) during cooler months. The trees can reach 15 feet on average, but is fairly easily restrained. Young trees can be trained against a surface, or pruned off to form a regular free-standing trunk. Growth is in one long flush, beginning in spring. Young plants need staking to protect from breakage. They are drought tolerant when established and do not withstand poor drainage. Its smooth and slightly grainy texture makes this fruit a delight to snack on.

The vanilla orchid plant is the source of natural vanilla flavoring used widely in desserts and beverages. This Tahitian species is in high demand and can produce vanilla pods in about three years time on average.
Light requirement: Light shade
Basic information on growth:
These orchids grow as vines that need shade and structure to grow on. Once the orchids mature they can grow up to 40 feet in length. Vanilla Orchids can be grown outside in USDA Zones 11 to 12, or in pots in Zones 4 to 11.
We will ship you two orchids. Each will be around 3-5 inches overall length. They produce pods in about 3 years on average with good care. Complete care and hand pollination instructions are provided with your order. You can also see more care and propagation videos here on our YouTube Channel.
Continue reading below for more tips on growing them.
More details on growing:
Light
Liking the light but never direct sun light. Keep in sunny area but in filtered light. Do not expose them to strong light. Again, these orchids need a bright filtered shade in order to bloom, cutting 50% of sunlight will see them thriving. Also require dark night. Best temperature is between 21'-32'.
Water
Only water when the top 2 inches of medium is drying out. They like to be evenly moist but not completely wet. They also thrive on humidity, bathroom is a great start. Foliar spray is good every 2-3 days.
Mix-Medium
Well-draining, orchid mix is good. It’s preferable to use sphagnum moss or coco-chip orchid mix in medium. You can also use potting clay pebbles. All of these mixes help aerate the roots and give proper drainage
Fertilizer
Give them small weak, weekly foliar fertilizer sprays when you first get the plant until they are about 18 inches tall. Then cut down to once a month. NPK 10-10-10 is ideal but anything close to that or for Orchid flowers is acceptable. Only use liquid fertilizer.
Wind
Keep away from strong wind. Provide them with trellis or post to climb.
Frost
No frost - best grown indoor
Fruiting
In approximately three years old, it will start to flower for one day. What initiates bloom is somewhat variable. It is thought that a dry period for a couple of months in the winter, as well as the vine reaching the top of the support and cascading off stimulates the flowering process. The blooms appear on flowering spikes that emerge at the leaf axis along the stems and many blooms will emerge from this spike over a period of weeks, usually one at a time and each flower lasts only one day. To produce vanilla beans, the flowers need to be hand pollinated, which is easily done with a toothpick. 6-8 months later a vanilla pod is expected to be ready for harvesting!

Pitomba (Eugenia luschnathiana) is a delicious sweet apricot flavored fruit similar in size and growth habit as a grumichama.
Description
This little-known species is native to the State of Bahia, Brazil.
The pitomba is an attractive, small tree that produces and abundance of yellow, aromatic, cherrylike fruit. However, it is rarely seen outside of collections. While the pitomba is not likely to achieve commercial status in Florida, it makes an excellent dooryard crop and is worth planting on a broader scale. The tree is easy to care for and is relatively free of problems. native to Brazil, Paraguay, and Argentina. It belongs to the Myrtaceae family, which includes other well-known plants such as guava and eucalyptus.
The tree can grow up to 10 meters tall, with a dense crown and a straight trunk. Its bark is smooth and reddish-brown in color, and its leaves are oval-shaped, glossy, and dark green. The tree produces small, white flowers with prominent yellow stamens that bloom in the spring and summer. These flowers are followed by round, red or dark purple fruits that are about 2-3 centimeters in diameter. The fruit is edible and has a sweet, juicy flavor, similar to that of a cherry.
Pitomba is often used in landscaping for its attractive foliage, flowers, and fruit, as well as for its tolerance to a variety of soils and environmental conditions. In addition, the fruit is widely consumed fresh, used in jams and jellies, and is also an ingredient in traditional medicines.
Flowers
Snowy white yellow flowers up to an inch and a half across are borne during the spring months and the fruit ripens about a month to six weeks later. Flower season is usually April through June.
Fruit
The fruit is broadly obovoid, about an inch long, with the apex crowned by 4 or 5 green sepals, about 1/2 inch long. The thin skin is a bright orange yellow. The soft, melting, juicy flesh is orange in color and aromatic, sweet to subacid in flavor. The fruit contains 1 to several seeds attached to one side of the seed cavity. The fruit matures from May to June and sometimes there is a light crop in the fall. The pitomba usually begins fruiting in about the third year after planting.
Planting
Trees grow over a wide variety of soils, but have less micronutrient problems under acidic conditions. If grown close to the coast usually they have excellent salt tolerance if in good condition nutritionally. Trees prefer sun for optimum fruiting, but will tolerate partial shade.
Irrigation
Your tree will require irrigation during establishment and during periods of drought.
