The Cherimoya is related to the Sugar Apple and the Soursop. Cherimoya will grow best in cooler frost free areas. The Cherimoya is a fast-growing, evergreen tree, briefly deciduous during cooler months around the country. The trees can reach 30 feet or more, but is fairly easily restrained. Young trees "harp," forming opposite branches as a natural espalier. These can be trained against a surface, or pruned off to form a regular free-standing trunk. Growth is in one long flush, beginning in spring. Young plants need staking to protect from breakage..
ITEM DESCRIPTION: Plant is in a 3.5" x 5" deep container. The average planted height from soil level is 9-12 inches. Plants are available now and ship out Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

On arrival of your seedling put them in a place with temperatures about (70-80 F) in shade but NOT direct sun for two weeks so they can adjust from shipping. NO direct sunlight at all! NO partial shade - FULL SHADE ONLY! Once again: Sun will burn the seedlings! Allow the plants a week or two to adjust before transplanting or fertilizing. If you plan to plant them in the garden, gradually increase their exposure to sunlight and outdoor conditions!
